This survey is part of a Bachelor's thesis conducted at the Technical University of Berlin. It aims to investigate the current use of artificial intelligence (AI) in operational landslide early warning systems (LEWS), in particular to what extent AI is already being used in these systems. The study seeks to give an overview on how AI methods are used and which tasks they support, and to identify possible technical, legal and ethical concers and challenges for the use of AI in LEWS. The survey is directed at organizations that operate, manage, or are otherwise involved in LEWS.
Filling out this survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes. The survey will remain open for four weeks. After that, participation will no longer be possible.
